ABOUT

From The Owner :

Hospitality has been an integral part of my life for over 20 years, rooted deeply within my family's legacy. My journey in hospitality traces back to my grandfather Wesley, whose unwavering dedication as a Bellman at the DeGeorge hotel in Houston, Texas, set a standard of excellence that has inspired me since childhood. Despite knowing that his extraordinary efforts might not always be recognized or rewarded, especially during a time when being a black American presented additional challenges, he epitomized the true spirit of hospitality — providing service with boundless generosity, expecting nothing in return.

Following in his footsteps, my own path in hospitality began humbly as a dishwasher at Idle Spurs, a cherished local steakhouse in Barstow, California, where I resided with my mother after our move from Houston. Since those early days, I have held various roles, from server to bartender, from bar manager to general manager, and eventually to Director of Operations for esteemed hospitality groups.

Hollybrook Lane stands as a testament to over two decades of relentless dedication and unwavering passion in the hospitality industry. Our commitment to service mirrors the ethos instilled by my grandfather — to exceed expectations, to go above and beyond, without anticipation of reciprocation. At Hollybrook Lane, we embrace this philosophy wholeheartedly because, for us, hospitality is more than a profession; it's a calling, a tradition, a legacy.
